Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

December 24, 2015

Just a quick note to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas!  If you are anything like me you are finishing up the wrapping and baking today or maybe you already have family in town.  Either way, enjoy the time spent with family and friends this Christmas.

My husband and I are having an extra little Merry Christmas this year…

We are anticipating a very special gift to our family in this coming year, although it won’t be found under the tree tomorrow. Smile

Our family of two will become a family of THREE in late May or early June this year and we are so excited! Smile  We shared our news on our yearly Christmas photo card this year and enjoyed telling my sweet little nieces and nephew earlier this week that they would soon have a cousin to play with.  They are just a little bit excited. Winking smile

Seems extra special and a little more real to celebrate the birth of Christ this Christmas as we anticipate our own baby’s birth later this year.   Oh how Mary must have felt on this day so many years ago knowing that soon she would birth a child that would one day die to save her and others from their sins.  What a miraculous and special gift!

I will be taking some time off over the next week or two so posting will be sporadic but I plan on wrapping up the year next week and then moving into lots more decorating, thrifting, organizing, and so much more in January!  Lots of changes coming for our family (I will soon have a nursery to furnish and decorate!) and I can’t wait to continue share the thrifting and decorating journey with you!

Merry Christmas to my friends and readers!

I am so excited for you and to experience that new little life within you. No more painting or at least be careful with the paint fumes!! 🙂 Merry Christmas and remembering the empty spot within your family circle–I can’t remember if it’s your first or second (I’m thinking 2nd) Christmas without your father in law but my mom has been gone 11 years and I still miss her daily.
