Paper. It is my worse nemesis. I throw away the mail pretty much right away but magazines, lists, things that need to be dealt with, coupons, sales ads – all those things that I don’t know what to do with or don’t have a specified place drive me crazy. So let’s take some stress away from Christmas and find a place for all those creative photo cards and Christmas cards that you are going be getting in the mail. And even better let’s turn the paper clutter into décor!
I usually use a card holder like this (I think I picked mine up at Goodwill and I see them there all the time). I hang it over a door in our entryway. It works but sometimes cards fall out and it isn’t the best display option.
I have really been wanting to do a ribbon display like this one or one over my kitchen cabinets – think I will try that this year!
And better yet, I think I might NEED this chalkboard wall in my house – how pretty is that!?
Here’s some other ideas.
I also love this idea to make a book out of your cards and photo cards. I think this would be a great idea to store your cards from year to year if you keep them or even to keep your own cards as sort of a Christmas photo card scrapbook.
Does the paper monster live at your house (and multiply overnight?) at your house too?
How do you display your Christmas cards? Did you find a new way to try this year?

this is my favorite – I had all my daycare kids make them, one year, and we still use ours every year.
