Every Friday I share either something fun we have done that week or some frugal finds that I found the week before. (You can see all of my previous yard sale and thrift store finds here.)
I stopped in Value Village last week and found some fun winter clothes (just in time for it to turn 70 degrees here, of course!)
The vest was $4.29, but the it was the 1/2 price color of the week so it was $2.15. And I found 2 more scarfs for $1.99 each. (By the way, I LOVE the turquoise one! It actually did get down in the 50’s last week so I got a change to wear it two times – love it!) And bonus: the vest and scarf match too! 🙂
Then I stopped in my favorite flea market (I need to do a post on this – it is not your typical flea market that all they sell are “as-seen-on-tv products” – hate those! This is like a 20 yard sales in individual booths – LOVE! )
Got this large window framed mirror for $3.00
2 black frames – $1.00 each
Gold ornate frame – $2.00 (she was asking $3 but I offered her $2)
Metal birdcage – $1.00 (already got some spray-paint love!)
2 milk glass dishes – $1.00 each (LOVE the candle holder. I have been wanting to find some different pieces to add to my collection other than the little planter containers I always find and this candleholder is gorgeous!)
See why I love this flea market? 🙂 It gets much busier, new venders, etc. as the weather gets nicer, so I am so excited to start shopping there again.
By the way, remember these items – you will be seeing many of them in my spring mantel and spring décor 🙂
So how about you? Did you find any fun deals this week?
(And don’t forget to enter to win a $10 Goodwill gift card in celebration of my 100th post – enter over on this post!)

Hey! just found your amazing blog! You inspire me to create a more beautiful home! I thought I read that you live in Ga. Could you tell me which flea market you shop at? (I live in the Marietta area). Thankyou!

I live SE of Atlanta – an hour or so from Marietta. The flea market I shop it is nothing big but it more my “style” of flea markets. It is in a little town called Porterdale. If you ever come down this way let me know and I can recommend some more places to go.
You also might want to follow Rhoda’s blog (http://southernhospitalityblog.com/) – she is another home, frugal decor blog who loves yard sales and thrift stores too. She lives in Marietta and frequently talks about places she shops there. Also be looking out for an “I <3 thrifting day" this summer. Rhoda hosted one last summer and I think will again this year too.
