Cozy Fall Front Porch

October 4, 2021

Happy Fall!  I invite you to come and take a tour of my cozy fall front porch!

Cozy Fall Front Porch-19

It can be a bit hard to photograph the whole thing together because of the glass front door so let’s take some close up looks around.

My spring and summer ferns were still going strong here in the South so I incorporated them into my fall display.  I love using these picket fence pieces for fall and sometimes Christmas decor – gotten for free off facebook marketplace years ago they provide a fun backdrop for a fall display.

I love the deep colored mums along with some white ones and found some of the grasses I wanted for my fall porch on clearance for $2.00 at Walmart a few weeks ago.

I’ve collected the buckets and tins over the years and use for fall and usually they end up with some porch Christmas trees in them for Christmas too. Same with the pumpkins… I’d love to use real ones but real mums, real pumpkins, real hay to create a fall display each year quickly adds up.  And since none of it lasts (except for the mums which I try to plant in my yard each year) so to keep within my budget and still create a festive display I have picked up a few faux pumpkins each year to add to my collection and they still create such a pretty display for fall.  And bonus when it’s 90 degrees here in October I don’t have rotting pumpkins on my porch too Smile

I love my long front porch and that porch swing is my favorite spot.

I just added a fall throw (actually just a blanket scarf) with my summer pillows and then added a cute burnt orange pillow from the Target dollar spot.

We’ve had a few cool mornings cool enough to sit out here and drink a cup of coffee under a blanket and I am sure more will be coming soon!

Cozy Fall Front Porch-24

Everything is still green here but gradually I am seeing some leaves start to change and lots are falling…
