Christmas Day is drawing closer and that always means scrambling to make sure all the gifts are ready! So many gifts – gifts for family, friends, parents, neighbors, teachers… I hope this post will provide some help in crossing some of those gifts off your list with under $20 Cozy Christmas themed gift ideas and a free printable tag to attach to it.
When I think of Christmas and winter, I think of wanting to be cozy and warm all snuggled up in our home, maybe around a fire drinking hot chocolate or watching Christmas movies during the all the cold, dark evenings. So a perfect gift would be a cozy throw, some popcorn, and some hot cocoa!
I grabbed some of my favorite cozy blankets during a Black Friday sale and then took some packets of hot cocoa, some packets of popcorn, and just tied all of them together with a pretty ribbon around the blanket to secure it all together. Then I tied this free printable tag I created to the bow with some red/white baker’s twine! That’s it! So easy! Yet it’s a thoughtful, themed useful gift that anyone would enjoy.
Here’s the link for you to print the tag. Make sure to click on this link to open a PDF instead of just clicking on image below (image may print blurry). I printed mine on cardstock but you could do regular paper too.
And to help you out even further I have rounded up a list of soft and cozy blankets in the $10 range (some even less with current coupon codes!). Add them to your cart and pickup in-store (or you could do shipping) so you make sure you’ll be able to get them and they won’t be sold out when you get to the store.
- Big One throw at Kohl’s – extra big and we own several of these – our favorite kid friendly throws! Comes in many colors/designs and usually $10-15 with discounts.
- Opalhouse tassel throw from Target – only $10 and several colors!
- Plush throw from Kirkland’s – only $10 and get 20% off with code HOLIDAY.

Just pick up a box of popcorn packets and hot cocoa packets and you are set!
I also have another cozy gift idea and this time I paired some items with my favorite slippers from Kohl’s. But if you don’t know the person’s size you could also do a blanket in place of slippers and still do the candle and mug too for something different.
I try to keep some baskets on hand that I have picked up at yard sales but you could wrap this up in one of the large clear cellophane gift bags. Or Target dollar spot often has fabric bins similar to this (some are coming out in the new release already in some stores 2 for $5 – don’t think they have handles like this though) – those would be great to pick up a few and keep on hand for gifts like this.
But for this cozy gift idea if you caught a good sale or chose certain ones below this would still be an under $20 gift. I paired some super cozy slippers with a mug filled with a few packs of hot cocoa and a candle. Perfect for a teacher, even a sister/sister in law, cousin, aunt – any girl on your list! Depending on your budget if you wanted to give more you could add in some chocolate and even tuck in a gift card.
