Excited to share some more frugal finds this week with you! I even yard sale shopped in January.
I went by a local thrift store (Repairers of Breach) and picked up 2 games and a Scattergories refill pack – paid $1.00 for each of them.
I was excited to find the Scattergories refill pack as it was filled with extra score sheets and category sheets that were brand new! Scattergories is a popular game that I find a lot so I am glad to have a box full of category sheets that I can fill up the used games to make them like brand new!
I buy these games when I can find them at prices like this ($2.50 and under) and save them for wedding gifts or just gifts in general.
I also stopped by my parking lot yard sale. There were not as many booths as normal but still plenty to shop even in January!
I picked up 2 more games for $2.00 each.
See that price tag on the Imaginiff game? $18.68 – at that price I could only afford to give 1 maybe 2 games as a gift. But at my $1 and $2 price, I can give a stack of 6-8 games and still be saving myself tons of money!
And I was excited to find this pillow. The pillow cover zipped up in the back and definitely need some stain remover. It took 2 washes to get it clean but I will love using this to decorate for Valentines’s. Even if the pillow cover didn’t come clean – the pillow form (which I could have used for a placemat pillow) was worth the $1.00 to me.
Any fun finds for you this week? Did you shop a yardsale in January? My Value Village 1/2 price day is next Wednesday so I am looking forward to what I will find then.

Speaking of placemat pillows – thanks for the idea!
I got a set of 4 at Home Goods for $9.99. I made pillows out of two of them. The other two, I wrapped around a piece of foam core board and lined the back of the tv cabinet to cover the wires!
