I didn’t do a lot of thrifting or yard saling in the last few weeks due to lots of rain and being out of town this past weekend. But I did manage to pick up a few things and find a few things that I liked at Goodwill.
This coffee table was $10. Since it is solid wood it could easily be sanded, painted, or stained and turned into a beautiful piece.
These 3 white canisters were sold as a set for $4.74. That’s a great price for 3 canisters.
These would be super cute with chalkboard labels on the front on a counter like I did with mine.
So here’s a few things I picked up… this basket was $1.00 at a yard sale. I added it to my guest bathroom to store washcloths in it. And there’s my glass canisters from Goodwill put to use too.
I also picked up this brand new set of yellow sheets for $3.00. I was so excited! I am looking for second sets of sheets for all our beds – I have only had 1 set ever since we got married. And the yellow is PERFECT for my guest room – I am busy at work in there too and can’t wait to show you what I have done.
I think it is supposed to rain all day tomorrow so probably no yardsaling for me

Christina, you certainly are a smart shopper. I love seeing all the bargains you find – like that 3-piece set of white canisters. I only shop at a couple of bargain shops and don’t find very many items I like. I guess I need to broaden my shopping base – like the Dollar Tree that’s just opened a used items store.
