I just did a little yard sale shopping last weekend. I typically do all my errands on Friday so just stop at any sales I happen to see on my way to town and around town. I need to schedule a weekend soon to just devote to ALL yardsaling or thrifting! Haven’t done that in a while.
So here’s my finds…
The necklace and earring set was $1.00
I found this old tupperware – paid $1.25 for all of it. Going to store my excess laundry detergent in the larger 2 containers.
And I loved this interesting looking mirror for $3.00. The frames is sort a faux wood. It would paint well but not sure if I will leave it as is or paint it – depends on where I find a home for it.
And my favorite find! More vintage Pyrex!! Seriously I have been looking at these and for these at yard sales for a while and never see them cheap. But I found the big yellow bowl at a sale in my neighborhood on Friday for $1.00. And then found the orange bowl and the turquoise loaf pan for $2.00 each at my parking lot yard sale! I just need the medium size bowl and I will have a complete set of the bowls. Now to rearrange my kitchen shelves to incorporate these to display and use.
How about you? Any fun finds last week? Doing some yard sale hunting this weekend? I won’t be yard sale shopping this weekend – hosting a shower at my house so busy preparing and then hosting that. So more fun finds for you to find!

Love the jewelry and those large Tupperware containers would make perfect for holding laundry detergent. Good thinking! I just went thru a phenominal time at the thrift stores and found some home décor from Ballard and a navy blue tufted chair (among other things). Now I am on the hunt for a dining room table! 🙂

I love vintage tupperware. it brings back great childhood memories. Is that weird? I remember finding out a few years ago my parents “upgrade” many of their kitchen dishes and was really bummed.
