Do you have your Christmas shopping done yet? I am slowly crossing things off my list and thought today I’d help you by sharing a simple way to adorn your packages plus I’ve also rounded up some of the best gift ideas for all the people in your family. This post is sponsored by Walmart but all thoughts, opinions and ideas are all mine. Links are affiliated.
Years ago I used to do big homemade bows with ribbon for my gifts but I have grown to prefer the much simpler look of just some simple ribbon or twine, a tag or topper, and a twig of greenery tucked in. It’s easy, inexpensive, and makes for less waste and work.
Walmart has some of the cutest ornaments in their mini tree line and so many of these can be used for many other things than just ornaments – use as napkin rings, plate toppers, gift tags, gift toppers and more! They are so inexpensive too – seriously a nice package of paper gift tags would cost the same.
So I grabbed a few packages of these and just wrapped some jute twine around my wrapped gifts and then looped the ornament onto the twine. You can even write on the back of the ornament (these are wood) to use as a tag that doubles as part of the gift as an ornament they can keep!
I rounded up all the supplies you’ll need to adorn your packages like this – just add them to your Walmart + order or next grocery pickup and you’ll be all set!
Now you might be thinking, well first I need some gifts to wrap! I’m ready to help with that too! I asked around my family and had them help choose a few things to create a gift ideas list for him, her, boy or girl – gifts in every budget, interest, and many of these are even on early Black Friday sale currently so I would grab them while you can. Just click the images below the graphic to go straight to that particular item.
I already snagged this massage gun for my husband and I might grab this 2 pack of pajama pants as well. He already owns a very similar jacket that actually cost much more than this one – such a great deal.
I had fun rounding up this gift ideas list for Her. 🙂 Send this to your husband to help give him some ideas.
I may have already bought that white throw for myself as a Christmas gift to me 😉 and that beautiful white crockpot is on my Christmas wish list!
I had my nephew pick a few of his favorite things to go on this list – some of these are on early Black Friday sale too!
That Captain America nerf gun/shield looks like a lot of fun and I think a Hoverboard is on many kids lists this year – this one is in stock and on sale!
And my little girl helped pick out some gifts for this list for her or her tween/teen cousins.
That kitchen set is half off right now and a great brand/quality.
If you are still looking for some gift ideas, Walmart actually created a gift finder on their website this year – you can select by him/her then adult/child/baby and then interests including even stocking stuffers and coworker/boss type gifts – makes finding things even easier! Check that out here.
I hope you can find some gifts to cross off your list and then be ready to wrap them with this simple gift topper hack!
