I haven’t been doing as much yardsaling or thrifting lately. It has been super hot and we have been busy on the weekends plus I have been busy working on projects, some of which you will see next week! 
But I did stop by my parking lot yard sale 2 weeks ago and was so glad I did because I found 2 very specific things on my list.
I picked up this metal full size headboard and rails for $20. I had been specifically looking for a metal/iron headboard for my guest room. I have an old wood one in there now, but it is so short you can’t see it above the mattress. I will paint this one white and show you the room/bed soon!
And I picked up this wood bench for $5.00! I just love this style of rustic/farmhouse bench even though this is more of a pre-fab one and not an old one or built out of hardwood. I couldn’t pass it up for $5.00! It will probably also get painted when I paint the other furniture in my guest room.
So there’s my finds – I was super excited to find these things on my list. Looking forward to showing you what I do with them.

My friend and I went to one of our usual Church Sales they have every year. I was so excited to find a light green loveseat and ottoman that matched for $50.00! They are in great condition. And I got. Coach purse for $2.00! I wasn’t sure if it was a real coach but I keyed in the series nu. And up came the purse I bought! I’m a very thrifty shopper also. And like you say, “I had that on my list”!
