Today let’s talk about pumpkin crafts. And by that I mean pumpkins made out of everything except real pumpkins. Pumpkins made out of wood, felt, yarn, paper, burlap and more.
How adorable is this yarn pumpkin garland from Design Improvised?
Burlap screams fall to me so how perfect are these burlap and book page pumpkins – made by Thinking Closet.
Here’s another version of colored and white burlap pumpkins. And a tip for you – SAVE YOUR PUMPKIN STEMS. Seriously, I wish I had done this last year. Real pumpkin stems harden and will basically last forever. And they look so real and pretty when you use them on a pumpkin craft. So before you throw out your real pumpkins this year – cut or pull the stems off, clean and dry them and save them for crafts for next year!
Ruffled felt pumpkin by Clean and Scentsible
I have always loved these canning jar lid pumpkins
Dryer Duct Pumpkin by House of Hepworths
Toilet paper roll pumpkins – these can be made in any color or design and are so cheap to make! You probably already have the supplies on hand – a roll of toilet paper and a scrap of fabric. 🙂
Yarn ball pumpkins by DIY Showoff
Sweater pumpkins with a cute book page leaf.
Chicken wire pumpkin – so unique and very farmhouse style!
Here’s another idea I had never seen before – concrete pumpkins.
Jute Webbing Pumpkin by At the Picket Fence
I love these next 2 wood pumpkins – this one by Marty’s Musings is made out of fence boards
Rustic reclaimed wood pumpkins by Finding Home
Slinky pumpkin by The Space Between Blog
Striped and polka dot 2×4 pumpkins
And last but not least, velvet pumpkins! I adore these and want o make some DIY ones soon. So much cheaper than the expensive store bought ones.
