Don’t know why I always forget to share these posts – maybe I should just plan on sharing them every 2 months, then I won’t be late.
So here is the last 2 month’s worth of posts all linked up for you in one post. Benefits me cause I don’t get discouraged thinking I didn’t accomplish anything, benefits you if you missed a post or maybe saw one you wanted to do or was inspired by but forgot all about it.
I started off the month of May sharing a quick and easy makeover on a 75¢ set of yard sale candlesticks.
Then I house crashed my friend Molly! Her decorating style inspires me and the fact that she does it with pretty much ALL yard sale, thrift store, Craigslist finds inspires me even more.
I shared all about my trip to a Goodwill outlet – can’t wait to find another one to shop at soon!
I did a roundup of summer project inspiration – check all this out here.
My patriotic mantel is being taken down as you read this but I really did enjoy it this year.
I even shared how I made the DIY fabric bunting – definitely plan on making another color/themed one soon.
Still amazed at the magic of Mr. Clean Magic erasers – my front porch is next on the cleaning list.
Do you have some faded chair cushions? Do you dare to spray paint them? I did!
I have enjoyed a new site called “Hometalk.” I have a board devoted to all things mailbox makeovers over there and you can a wealth of information from other users too.
One of my favorite posts from this month – a beach inspired tablescape and some new white dishes I got the chance to purchase from the Better Homes and Gardens line at Walmart.
Second favorite – this cute little succulent garden planted in a milk glass dish. And it is still living and green 2 weeks later – bonus!
And of course I been sharing my frugal finds from yard sales or thrift stores every Friday and letting you link up your own. If you want to browse back through this Friday Frugal Finds post, you can do that here.
What was your favorite post/project I shared this month? Or better yet – share YOUR favorite project of the last month in the comments – and if you have a blog share a link and I will come check it out.
Thanks for sharing the “re-cap posts” – I enjoyed seeing them again and being reminded of projects that I want to try! I especially loved your beach inspired tablescape…..so pretty! I’m anxious to see your new mantel. I’ve been pondering that myself….change it or leave it up until fall?? Can’t wait to see what you share!
Blessings,
Lanita
