I have been enjoying getting back into thrift store shopping and even yard sale shopping again! (In GA, yard sale season is almost year round. ) Especially with the 60 degree winter we have been having. I take a break from about Thanksgiving through January. But February through November yard sales are everywhere and I am out most weekends 🙂
I stopped in Value Village and found these 3 scarfs for $1.99 each. Now if it would only be cold and STAY cold enough for me to wear them! The gray and black one is actually really light so I am hoping I can enjoy that one through the spring.
At my favorite parking lot yard sale I picked up these 2 pieces. A black frame for $0.50 and a milk glass piece for $2.00.

I love the milk glass on a pedestal!!! Sweet find! I hit the dig n’ save goodwill in Charlotte yesterday and found some really cool stuff. One of the things I got ended up breaking when I took it out at home, but oh, well! I cannot wait until yard sales start poppin up around here! Oh, and I finally made a burlap wreath with free burlap garland I got at Michaels last week! Yay! Have to do a bow or flowers on it and then find it a home!

dig n’ save Goodwill??? – sounds like my kind of store!! 🙂 sounds like that one thrift store that we went to that we were literally digging 😉 if we come up there – you will have to take me there.
can’t wait to see your wreath! still need to do a burlap one – maybe for spring!

Hi, Christina! It’s always a pleasure to find a post from you in my inbox! Also, I’m not a coffee drinker, but your Peppermint Mocha tempted even me. :0) I loved the pretty little white board thingy you had pictured with your ingredients too! Soooo… today I ran into our local thrift store and the first thing my eyes land on is a white Princess House “pretty” that looks just like yours! For $1.00!! It’s now cheering up the area beside my sink with tonight’s supper menu written on it;

awww, you are so sweet! 🙂
wow, $1.00 for the white display board – great deal! Yes, mine is Princess House too and I found it at Goodwill. But mine cost $3 🙁 but I was willing to pay that cause I have some of the other dishes that match it and I love it. 🙂 it is fun to write little messages on it 🙂

-yes it was! couldn’t believe it when I asked the price. would have been $7-8 at Goodwill.
I need to find somewhere to display my collection of milk glass 🙂
