15 DIY Build to Organize projects

Today I am sharing 15 amazing DIY organizational projects that you can do!

I don’t know about you but January and February have been cold and WET which has left lots of time for doing projects inside and I have still have a few more I’d like to tackle before the outdoor spring work begins.  Earlier this month I shared my DIY mudroom shiplap hall tree and bench along with 35 other bloggers sharing their DIY build to organize projects as part of the At Home DIY challenge.

Today I am highlighting 15 of the projects that were shared and some of the ones that I added to my to-DIY list.

I have dreams of having a built in organized closet like Two Feet First did– so much cheaper to build it yourself too instead of buying it.

Shrimp Salad Circus built DIY floating shelves even when she had uneven walls.

By Brittany Goldwyn built DIY custom drawer organizer inserts – these totally got put on my to-do list!!  Easy, inexpensive project that just adds so much function and custom organization to your home!

Kenya Rae built a DIY chalkboard calendar – functional organization that doubles as decor too!

Oh man, do I need to do this!?  As any DIYer knows, the paint gets out of hand and mine is at the out of hand stage for sure.  Love these simple shelves Savvy Apron made to help her organize all her paint supplies.

This project has been on my to-do list since we moved in this house – maybe next winter I can finally make it happen.  DIY Beatify made DIY wood shelves to make her pantry functional and organized.

I did actually replace the wire shelving in this hall closet and add wood shelves – makes a huge difference!  Can’t wait to tackle my pantry!

How fun are these simple DIY box shelves that Health, Home and Heart made!  Such a great storage and decorative option for a bathroom.   I need to make these for my husband’s shaving stuff in our bathroom.

The bottom floor of a closet always ends up in a mess or goes completely unused so these simple DIY shoe storage shelves that Dukes and Duchesses made are a great organizing/storage option!  Gives the look of custom built without the cost or a huge project.

This DIY under cabinet shelf by T Moore Home is another genius idea!  Definitely adding to my to-DIY list too!

Live in a house without a garage?  Living Letter Home shares a great option for storing tools and DIY supplies.  I’ll be using a few of our ideas even though we do have a garage just to help organize things.

Love this idea for adding storage to a small kitchen by Red Cottage Chronicles.  Adds decor and organization too!

This DIY earring organizer by Renovating Mapleson Manor is such a neat idea!

Do you have a Cricut or Silhouette machine?  It’s on my wishlist to buy soon.  So I’ll definitely be saving this idea to storing vinyl by Girl Just DIY.
