We already talked about how to craft pumpkins out of other items – like pumpkins made out of fabric, dryer vents, wood, toilet paper rolls, and more. But today let’s talk about decorating with REAL pumpkins. As much as I love pumpkin crafts – there is nothing like the real thing!
Of course you can carve them! But think of unique and decorative ways you can carve pumpkins. I LOVE this one by BHG!
Or another version of a scraped pumpkin by BHG.
Here’s an easier way – yet, it is still classy and pretty!
You can decoupage some pumpkins
Or decorate them with duct tape
Or even turn your pumpkins into a pumpkin man! so cute!

Use pumpkins on your table. So many examples in this picture – pumpkins on the table, pumpkins hanging, pumpkins on the back table used as vases, pumpkins in the vases.
But the pumpkins on your table don’t have to be plain – why not glitter them?
Use pumpkins as tablecloth weights
Or make pumpkins your centerpiece by stacking them up in a lantern, under a cloche, or in an old birdcage. Like this example from Town and Country Living.
More pumpkins used to decorate your table.
Love the pumpkins mixed with bittersweet.
You can serve dip out of them – link for idea and recipe for pumpkin pie dip.
Or serve chips or any kind of food out of a pumpkin.
Welcome display – in an old wheelbarrow, on a porch, in the front yard, wherever.
Or fill a tray, tool caddy, trough or anything in your home with a mix of pumpkins and other fall things
I love pumpkins on candlesticks!
Spray painted pumpkins and gourds
We will talk all about fall porches in a few days but of course decorating your porch, door, stairs and outdoors with pumpkins is a perfect way to display fall.

So there is lots of ideas to decorate with pumpkins! What is your favorite way? Do you decorate indoors with them or outdoors or both?
