Take Care of Yourself (31 days to Love the Home You Have)

31 days to Love the Home You Have

This post is part of a 31 day series – 31 days to Love the Home You Have.  I am blogging through the 31 day challenge in the back of the book “Love the Home You Have” by Melissa Michaels of The Inspired Room.  You can read all the posts in the series so far here.  And to make sure you don’t miss a post you can sign up to have every post delivered to your inbox , or follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or Instagram to get even more home decorating ideas and inspiration to help you fall in love with your home.

How do you feel when you just work for days straight and stay busy taking care of needed responsibilities?  I bet you feel exhausted, worn out, and even discouraged.    Now we all have work and responsibilities that we have to do, but we also need to take care of ourselves too.  We need rest and relaxation and we need to find some time to take care of ourselves.

I know that when I take some time to refresh my mind and body – get some extra sleep, spend time with a friend, go on a date with my husband, get a coffee, or spend time doing something I love like yardsaling or painting a piece of furniture…I come back and have renewed energy and inspiration to tackle things that need to be done around my house.

So today’s challenge is a fun one: Take some time for yourself and take care of yourself.  The weekend is right around the corner so carve some time to do something you enjoy – read a book, take a walk, take a bubble bath, go get coffee with a friend.  Then come back with renewed purpose and energy to tackle something around your home this weekend!

I really appreciate your heart in this series, which I think is to bring peace and contentment to the home that I/your readers currently live in. Thank you!
