Spring is a great time to accomplish some DIY projects! The weather is finally warming up outside to work on the yard and outdoor projects or bring some things outside to paint or refinish.
Spring is my favorite time of the year and I love DIY projects too. So I rounded up some of my favorite projects over the years and hope that these will inspire you for your own DIY projects.
Give your mailbox a makeover with just some paint and stain – can you believe this is the same mailbox and pole?
Paint your porch rails and restain the porch or deck boards.
Paint your concrete porch or patio – this transformed my back patio last year and I absolutely love it! I detailed exactly how to do it and what product to use in this post.
How to make your back porch or patio be an outdoor oasis – we truly enjoy our outdoor spaces daily!
Make a spring yellow and white wreath
Make some raised garden beds and grow some veggies in your back yard!
Make a huge flag for the side of your shed or your patio wall
Make a Welcome Spring sign and banner
Bring some spring blooms inside for a Simple blue blooms spring mantel
Make a DIY potting bench that can also serve as a serving station for cookouts.
You’ll need a patio table to enjoy all those spring grilled meals around – build this one completely out of just simple 2×4’s.
Give that furniture you find at a spring yard sale a makeover
Make a simple green and white wreath for your front door.
Or make a DIY lambs ear and peony wreath.
Can’t find naturally aged pots – make your own by aging some basic terra-cotta pots with paint
Transform your thrifted finds from some spray paint
Make a DIY wood planter box- these also double as tiki torch holders!

Make a DIY hanging wall planter – love having herbs growing on my back porch to grab to add to dinner.
Spruce up your front porch for spring – clean it all up, add flowers and plants and pillows – all the details here.
If have some items that are dirty and dingy and needing a makeover- give them a spray paint makeover!

So many great spring ideas, Although I am a little sore about the mailbox our got hit and knocked off two weeks ago by the delivery guy bringing us the stone for our sauna, and he has yet to replace it, go figure! So I don’t recommend a refresh the way we are redoing it LOL!
