10 Build it Cheaper than You can Buy it projects

Did you know that in most cases you can build a piece of furniture cheaper than you can buy it?  Well that’s just what I did with this entry bench that I built to use on the back porch to help us keep all the pool towels and stuff in check.  Go see all the details on this project and more pictures here.

Saavy Apron built this DIY lamp from an old tripod!  These lamps sell for hundreds of dollars so that’s just amazing to do it from a thrifted find!

Abbott’s at Home created this DIY kids play kitchen – wow!  I just love the wood bins at the bottom and all the fun details.

House by the Bay Design created this DIY storage basket side table!  So smart – I’ve always loved baskets/side tables like this but never thought of making one!

    I love that I stumbled upon this article. Your back porch bench for pool accessories is such a great idea and the little kitchen is adorable. I also love the color and size of the wooden table.
